The APGC library is considered as the heart of academics and acted as knowledge resource centre which caters the academic needs of around 5005 students.Our library has a stock of more than 75345 books, periodicals, national and international journals, online databases etc. The library is also equipped with latest technologies like internet, DELNET, INFLIBNET, for updating the knowledge of students and the staff of the college.
The library shares the mission of the college and is committed to provide information leading towards excellence in education. It is also bound to help students gather multifaceted knowledge and thereby facilitate the process of development of holistic personality and character building of the students. To meet the information needs of students of the aided and self- financing courses, teaching and the non-teaching staff of the college.
The College library has a strong Book Bank collection, which caters to the needs of all the students for all the semesters including all U.G & P.G, SC/ST and merit ours students are given priority for issue of books. They are given Full set for a semester without any charges. General category students are given 5 books for a semester without any fee and they can get. .
The library staff, guides/helps the library users in location, selection of documents/information, use of OPAC, and to procure information from other libraries if the need be. It is here that fresher’s are offered orientation programme to apprise them of library organization and services
