Another landmark achieved, Arya P.G. College won overall trophy in Ratnavali.
Arya P.G. College marked another landmark by winner the trophy of Ratnavali festival, 2015 held in Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. The festival was organized in the university campus from 27-30 October in which the college stood first in 12 items & 2nd in 8 items. A grand function was organized in the O.P. Shingla auditorium of the college to celebrate the occasion in which the President of college Managing Committee honored the students by giving prizes and he also congratulated all the staff members and students for such a great victory.
The team of Arya P.G. College stood first in 8 items which includes Rituals, Pop Song-Haryanvi, Haryanvi Orchestra, Saang, Haryanvi Skit, Haryanvi Folk Instrumental Solo, Gazal Haryanvi, Haryanvi Lok Geet, Haryanvi Best Selfie, Fuljhadi and Haryanvi Exhibition.
In Solo Dance (Female), Group Dance-Rasiya, Mono-Acting, Chaupal, Knotting Haryanvi Pagdi, Haryanvi Psalms, Group Song Haryanvi & Haryanvi Play, the college got 2nd rank.
The student of the college, Mintu Sharma was given the award for the Best Actor for Haryanvi Play.
Dr. Jagdish Gupta added that the college is winning overall Zonal Youth Festival trophy from the last seven years & the last year grabbed the overall trophy of the Inter-Zonal Youth Festival as well. He said that the students of the college are achieving laurels in academic, cultural & sports.
