APGC wins 8th time Zonal Youth Fest 2016
8th Consecutive Win in Zonal Youth Festival for Team Arya
--Arya PG College won Zonal Youth Festival Trophy held in Arya Aadarsh College, Matlaudha on 3-5 oct. 2016.
--Won overall Cultural and Literary events Youth Festival Trophy
Arya PG College, Panipat marked the history by winning eighth time Zonal Youth Festival Trophy held in Arya Aadarsh College on 3rd, 4th and 5th Oct., 2016. Team Arya also won the Literary and Fine Arts Trophy with its splendid performances. Winning students were honoured in a grand function held on Tuesday in the college premises. General Secretary of the college Managing Committee, Surender Shingla ji, treasurer, Sh. Piyush Arya ji, senior member, Virender Shingla ji and Principal, Dr. Jagdish Gupta and Navneet Shingla were present at the occasion. They honoured the students and congratulated them for their outstanding performances. Dr. Gupta also congratulated to the incharge of Cultural Committee, Dr. Ram Niwas and Co-coordinator, Prof., Meenakshi Chaudhary. He added that the credit for this win goes to the guidance of the staff members and dedication of the students. He expressed his gratitude to the college managing committee. Sh. Surender Shingla ji also announced to give Rs 1100/- as cash prize to the participants.
Principal, Dr. Jagdish Gupta informed that Arya PG College got total 377 marks and won 16 recommended items. In Literary trophy also the college got the highest rank with 122 marks. The college got first prize in Choreography, Mimicry, Pop Song Haryanvi, Rasiya, Haryanvi Orchestra, Classical Instrumental, Folk Instrumental, and Haryanvi Solo. In Literary items the college grabbed the first position in Quiz, Sanskrit Declamation, Symposium and Debate. In poetical Symposium the college got second and third prize. In Fine Arts the college got first position in Clay modeling, On the Spot Photography and Installation. All the teaching and Non-teaching students were present at the pocassion.
